My Thoughts
Everyone knows how much I love flashlights and this one is absolutely my favorite. This is the perfect survival flashlight as far as I am concerned. This has 2 features that are designed for self defense which as a woman who is often alone after dark makes that out even more. I have never had a flashlight that was as bright as this one is so there are no dark corners to be had. With over 8 hours of battery power, this flashlight is designed to last. It is made of aluminum but very sturdy.  It is so handy because it has 5 flashlight modes. One firm push on the green button on the end and the light comes on in full mode, then just a sort of half press lowers the light setting to medium, another tap goes to low, a 3rd tap goes to strobe light, a 4th push puts it on SOS mode. I like that one firm push on the green button turns off the flashlight no matter what mode you are in. I have had other flashlights and you had to go through the whole cycle before you could turn off the light. This is the flashlight I would want in the event of an emergency.

My Thoughts
 I feel everyone needs one of these tools in their vehicles for safety reasons.

•  The Autobar can cut through a seatbelt if you are stuck and the seat belt won't release. It has been known to happen after an accident that the catch won't release. I can still remember a woman wrecking near my step-father's job site and the men desperately trying to release her from the seatbelt. Obviously, I have been unable to test this portion and hope I never have to.
• The Autobar also will break out a window. I know my cousin has a personal fear of this so she would love to own one of these. The metal tip is very solid and I can see how it would work to break a window. Obviously, I have been unable to test this portion and hope I never have to.
• I have health issues and sometimes the arthritis makes it so hard to get in and out of vehicles. My van is a little taller than me so I usually have to boost myself in using the arm of the passenger seat but I get annoyed because either my daughter has her arm on it or someone has put it up and I have no hand hold. The Autobar solves that issue. Just pop it into the side pocket of my door so when I get ready to get into the van, I just hook it to the door.
