I read an article the other day about how there is a new group "super" lice out that are supposed to be hard to kill. I have grandchildren who are in elementary school which is the typical age for lice to affect. Any frequent reader of my blog knows how I prefer a more natural remedy as opposed to chemicals for anything, so I decided to make up my own spray for anti lice and give a bottle to my daughter, my neighbor and one for my house. 

Anti Nit Spray

1 tbsp of conditioner (whatever you have at home is fine)

10 drops tea tree essential oil

10 drops lavender essential oil

10 oz water

mix all the ingredients in a spray bottle ( I use a glass bottle to keep the essential oils from interacting with plastic). Shake well and spray around the head every morning before the kids head out to school. This works as a repellent and not a treatment.

My Thoughts
Everyone has been talking about these sponges so I really wanted to try one but when I got the sponge, I was afraid to use it at first. When the sponge is dry, it is very hard almost like a rock so I thought it would be too rough on my skin. My Thoughts
When I was a little girl my hair would knot up just sitting there and then one day it stopped and it seemed like my hair wouldn't tangle at all. Then suddenly again in the past year that stopped and my hair has changed back to the same old tangle ridden hair. My Thoughts
This hand cream was so rich I felt like I was at a luxury hotel or spa.That is the only time I have ever used any hand cream that was this good. I love this jojoba oil.I have been using it on my hair to make it super soft and shiny. My Thoughts
My grandbabies love bubble baths. When they were tiny, my oldest granddaughter would start saying she wanted a bath as soon as she got to my house. My Thoughts
I have used several products from Foxbrim and they have all been outstanding. The Dead Sea mud mask was no exception. I love anything that pampers my skin. I like using mud masks but hadn't tried this one. It really is a mud from the Dead Sea area so when you open it up it looks like mud :). I had to stir mine because it looked like it might have separated some but that could have just been me. I put it on and let it dry. I hate when I have smelly sweaty feet :( Yuck. My Thoughts
I am addicted to lotion. Its almost like a drug for me. I can't stand for my hands to even be slightly dry and I use lotion all the time. Just a few pumps and  I put it on my broken hair pieces and split ends and brush it through. Its great because it doesn't make my hair oily so I don't need to wash it out before leaving the house. And my hands aren't oily after rubbing it through the hair.  You can really tell a difference in my hair. I love all these wonderful healing oils that are in this mixture.

My Thoughts
I love Argan oil. I have only in the past couple months learned about it but its awesome. I love using it on my face and my hair. My hair has been feeling dry and looking drab so I mixed up an oil treatment for my hair.

Argan Oil Treatment for Hair

1/4 cup olive oil

2 TBSP argan oil

Mix and comb through hair. Put on a shower cap or wrap in a towel

 Leave on a couple of hours or overnight.

 Shampoo as usual. Your hair will be so soft and shiny. 

There are so many beauty uses for argan oil that everyone should have a bottle in their makeup bag. This is one of my favorite beauty essentials since I have discovered it. I put it on my dry elbows. hands and cuticles, etc...It just amazes me that it is an oil and I can rub it on my hands and they don't feel greasy.
