My Soul is Tired

 

Today is one of those days where I am just tired all the way to my soul. Life seems useless, never ending but at the same time flying by. I have been in constant pain for 9 years with not one day of relief. I can't walk more than 50? feet because my knees hurt so bad and I am gasping for breathe. I can't get my knees replaced because I am too fat and I can't lose weight because I can't move without excrutiating pain. I added up what I eat and its less than 900 calories most days.  I have tried all sorts of supplements to find something to help with pain, or my metabolism or just something. Nothing helps, the drs won't give any pain meds thanks to all the drug addicts out there. They are still finding drugs and the rest of us are suffering.

I read blogs on gardening and foraging and want to do that so bad yet can't make it to my own porch most days. I don't even know why I am still alive. Nothing worth living for. I guess so I can take care of my dogs, won't have anything once they are gone. I see posts from people's vacations and know even if I went to that place, I wouldn't be able to do anything. 

I don't have car, no money to get a car, bills are starting to overwhelm me and I can't see a way out.  You can't even complain about life because then people start with all the great stuff. They don't realize how overwhelming it is to have to justify my feelings to them. Their lying to make me feel better only makes it worse. I'm tired all the way to my soul.  I can't see my life ever being better.

Well it hasn't been a winning week. Not a single prize :( My cousin did win on a contest I told him to enter if that counts. He won a backyard barbeque from a local tv station. We thought they bought like Dickie's barbeque and brought to you but no, they are coming Thursday to cook at our house and do a short video. They bring all the food they say to feed up to 10 people but not drinks or dishes. Going to take them 90 minutes they say. I would not have entered or told him to enter if I had known that. We have to get the porch all cleaned up, grass mowed etc so we can be camera ready. And he isn't thrilled about having to be on tv. Food had better be good is all I can say. 

I did get the Hunts Brothers Pizza Fan of the week pack I won last week. It had lots of nice stuff. 2 die cast cars, a hand towel, a calendar, can koozie, couple of key rings, magnets, stickers, sunglasses, 2 really nice shirts. 

I also got the package that the dogs won on Instagram.  It had 2 kinds of treats, several toys and some other things to make dog life easier

this is the shaving set I won on twitter a couple weeks ago. Its really nice but way out of my budget. Retail cost is about $104.something.. I love the smell and its a great razor but I won't be able to reorder from them. But if you can afford that price then its a great kit. Also they show a picture on the website with all the products sitting in the bag but thats about all they do is sit. You can't zip them up inside the bag they don't fit. Looks like they would have made the bag a bit bigger.

Royal Canin®’s Urinary Care Thin Slices in Gravy Canned Cat Food Review

 

I received a Chatterbox from Royal Canin in exchange for my honest review. The package includes a Royal Canin food bowl and 2 cans of Urinary Care cat food. The bowl is really nice and has nonstick rubber on the bottom so it doesn't slide as your cat eats the food.  I have 4 cats so 2 cans wouldn't go far so I picked the finickiest cat to try it out on. Sassy is very particular about what she eats and often turns her nose up at foods, but as a responsible pet owner I look for everything I can do help improve my cats health and quality of life. We only had the 2 cans so will have to keep using Royal Canin to see the urinary health benefits but it won't be hard to do because my finicky cat loved the turkey. I took a video of her eating it and she almost ate the cat bowl she loved it so much. I like that a food that tastes good is good for helping promote a healthy mineral content in the urinary tract. I have other things that were supposed to help improve health and I had to force it on them cats. This will not be an issue here. 

 Another thing I appreciated was that the cans were easy to pop open. I have arthritis and have had trouble in the past opening some cans of food.

Even though my daughter is grown now I still worry about her when she goes places. So few of us are aware of just exactly how prevalent this is.  We have to teach our children to be aware without terrorizing them. Occasionaly we hear one or two stories a year on the news but this is a very far reaching issue both in America and around the world. This movie is coming out on 4th of July weekend which is the perfect time to emphasize freedom. 

Angel Studios has a mission to pre-sell 2 million tickets (before opening weekend) to represent & raise awareness for the 2 million precious children who are being trafficked every year. We must act, and this is a powerful and beautiful way to spread knowledge and enact change.

Free Flowers From Lowes

I have no idea what sort of flowers might be given, this picture is just for illustration

I love flowers and free flowers are even better. This year Lowe's is giving mom flowers. You have to sign up on the web site below starting April 30th and ending on May 12th to get your flowers. The company said as a thank you to the moms everywhere, it will be giving away free 1-pint flowers, while supplies last. In order to snag this deal, you must register for your free flowers beforehand, which you can do on Lowe’s website here starting April 30. Registration for submissions will close May 12. Mother’s Day is Sunday, May 14.
