Grace Of God DVD Review and Giveaway

About this item

Having lost his faith many years ago, Detective Bill Broadly is called to investigate the disappearance of the local church's collection plate. As he questions its various church members, rumors swirl as more congregants learn about the theft. When one unexpected church-goer confesses to stealing the funds, the confession resurrects Broadly's views on God, and helps him see that through faith and belief there really is rebirth and redemption.

My Thoughts
I like Christian based movies. It was nice seeing Lorenzo Lamas again and Erin Bethea too. It took me a minute because she looks different but her voice is completely the same. There are some pretty funny lines in the movie but honestly I did not like the movie. I love people being redeemed but that just really didn't seem to happen here. Nothing was resolved to my satisfaction in this movie but I seem to be in the minority on that opinion. I would not have been tempted to be a Christian if the person who kept witnessing to me turned out to be wrong and never showed real repentance. Plus I felt there should have been consequences for behaviors. But it got 5 Doves from the Dove foundation so like I said I am in the minority.

Easter is always a quiet family holiday for us. Usually the Easter bunny comes during the night, and we have ham & scalloped potatoes & green bean casserole & rolls.
