My Thoughts
This is the second book I have read by Maria Murnane. I loved this book so much. I loved the characters and the plot line. I really enjoy Maria's books because each character has been someone I could identify with in my life. I have had dreams of being a writer and it was interesting to see how Cassidy managed the writing process. I get tired of reading the same old romance story where boy meets girl, boy and girl fight all the time, boy and girl miraculously fall in love and get married and live happily ever after because that isn't how my life has went. I hate to put in a spoiler but I think most of us have had a relationship that just didn't work out no matter how much we wanted it to. I love books that are about characters that I could know and be friends with in my life. Maria is definitely on my top 5 author list.

My Thoughts
I enjoyed this book quite a bit. As someone who is in her middle 40s, I can understand how a person can lose themselves. I look at my life today and I too have allowed other people to change me and not always for the better. I can understand Daphne's need to reconnect with who she was. I think this a book you need to pay attention to so you can see the small changes in Daphne's mindset to see how she gets from point A to point B. Women can easily lose their identity in themselves as individuals and only see who they are as someone's wife, mother, daughter etc.. This is the first book I have read by Maria Murnane but now I know it won't be the last.
