My Thoughts
I got a bunch of poster board on clearance at Kroger so we are set for crafting now with these bright liquid chalk markers and they also come with their own chalkboard labels. I am using the labels to create jars for organizing my kitchen. We are in the moving process and so they have been so handy. The markers each have a 2 sided tip. You can write with a slanted tip or a rounded tip. You can use these to write on your car windows or even the house windows if you want to draw holiday images. The markers are water soluble so you just need a washcloth with soap and water to clean it all back off. I really like how vivid these markers are. I am so glad someone came up with the idea of chalk markers because I like how easy they are to use but I have asthma and sometimes regular chalk would bother my breathing.

Order your liquid chalk markers with chalkboard labels on Amazon today.

Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers. Thanks to Mom Select, BSM Media and Disney Parks! And also to the sponsors that included items in my awesome kit~ All, Wisk, Snuggle, HP, Crayola, Chef Duff, Twinings, Soy Vay! and Wilton!  Just a big shout out to all the wonderful sponsors for helping my grandson have a wonderful party.

Got the idea for the krispy treat Mickey Cake from Kristen at Ready, Set, Parenthood

We have been trying to have my grandson's 6th birthday party for over 2 weeks now but the snow just kept coming. The roads have been impassable and no one could even come to the party. So today the temps got up to 35 degrees and the roads were clear, we decided to throw an impromptu party. It wasn't as well put together as we had hoped since start to finish it was a total of 5 hours and that includes making the Mickey treat cake. But we are expecting more snow tonight and then I have to work 10 hour days over the next 3 days so today was our last chance to get the party completed. We ended up with 6 children and 6 adults so not bad for such a quick party. This was my first time hosting a #DisneySide party but hopefully it won't be my last and each one will be better than the last.

These are the Mickey ear headbands we made for the party. I got the idea from Spark Your Motivation

Here is a bit of the table being setup and decorated

This is my 2 1/2 year old granddaughter wearing her Mickey Ears

This is my oldest granddaughter with her Minnie ears.

This is our birthday boy, Frankie.

This is our 15 month old and she wanted no part in Mickey ears or the background photo.

Best coloring page of the day.

Skin Softening Sugar Scrub

I am so in love with this craft idea I found here. As soon as I read it I had to try it out and made a trial batch just to see if I liked it. You take a jar ( I used a plastic bowl because I don't like glass near the tub) fill it almost all the way to the top with sugar, add a layer (just a layer not top off the container) of dish liquid ( I used Dawn Botanicals in jasmine and lavender, it made such a lovely shade of lavender and smelled awesome) stir the dish liquid in with a case knife (easier than a spoon). I had to add a bit more dish liquid to get it the right consistancy. I went to take a bath and used it. My skin is super soft and the tub is so clean since there was dish liquid in the mix. I love bath products and have used the kind with oils in the mix but then the tub is a little slippery and you have to scrub it out afterwards. This was wonderful, easy to mix with ingredients you already have at the house. The original blog poster said she had made it and it was still good months later. I am going to make some of this for all the ladies on my Christmas list since its so easy and I just love it. I love the way my skin feels now. Its so silky soft.
