My Thoughts
My cousin is into weight lifting and I know he takes L-Carnitine and I have vaguely heard of it but haven't ever tried it. Now I see why weight lifters take it. I like Christian based movies. It was nice seeing Lorenzo Lamas again and Erin Bethea too. It took me a minute because she looks different but her voice is completely the same. There are some pretty funny lines in the movie but honestly I did not like the movie. I love people being redeemed but that just really didn't seem to happen here. Nothing was resolved to my satisfaction in this movie but I seem to be in the minority on that opinion. I would not have been tempted to be a Christian if the person who kept witnessing to me turned out to be wrong and never showed real repentance. Plus I felt there should have been consequences for behaviors. But it got 5 Doves from the Dove foundation so like I said I am in the minority.

#CatvsMouse @Influenster Temptations Voxbox Review

I love anytime I get selected for a box from Influenster. This time it was for the cutest mouse treat toy from Temptations. You fill the little mouse up with Temptations treats and then the cat bats it around the room and treats are dispensed through 3 little holes in the belly of the mouse. My cats had a field day knocking this mouse around. I tried to get a picture of the cats playing with the #CatVsMouse today but they were moving to fast. One would bat it and the other would attack it. I think this is the most fun they have ever had with a toy. My cats are 3 year old sisters and they acted like kittens again playing with this mouse.

My Thoughts

I am a late arrival onto the silicone cooking scene. I have a couple of pans but really never thought about how they worked. But now that I have these gloves, I love silicone. I am one of those people who always manages to burn themselves while cooking. I can't tell you how often I have gotten burned taking something in or out the oven. It seems like the dishclothes or pot holders are always damp when I grab them and heat comes through. My thoughts
I posted the other day about making an oil treatment to use on my hair. Well this is already mixed up for me to use and in a pump bottle. Just a few pumps and  I put it on my broken hair pieces and split ends and brush it through. Its great because it doesn't make my hair oily so I don't need to wash it out before leaving the house. My Thoughts
My life has been so hectic lately that I don't seem to know if I am coming or going. My Thoughts
I have been having a lot of health issues lately and my blood pressure is up so the doctor put me on blood pressure medicine. I am also pre diabetic so working on that.  I don't like to take a lot of medicines because of all the side effects. I love Argan oil. I have only in the past couple months learned about it but its awesome. I love using it on my face and my hair. My hair has been feeling dry and looking drab so I mixed up an oil treatment for my hair.

My Thoughts
Have you heard of a derma roller? I hadn't really before now. A derma roller has little needles that poke your skin and cause it to produce collagen. I won't lie, this was a scary item for me to try. The thought of rolling something along my skin that would poke holes was frightening.  They make rollers for your face and body depending on the type of needles. First off, I want to say what a great quality this is made with. I also loved the look of the roller because it was so pretty. Once I started using it, it wasn't nearly as painful as I had expected. Mostly it feels like little tingles in those places. You don't use a lot of pressure. My skin is red so afterwards I put a skin cream on to help calm it down. I also only use it at night so my skin has recovered before I have to go out.  I haven't used it long enough to know how its going to work for me but one of my Facebook friends said her friend used one and it really worked great for her. Here is the no brainer part,

1. You are poking holes in your skin so don't share the roller with anyone else.
2.  Make sure you thoroughly clean the roller before uses and after.
3. Clean your face before using
4. Only use the roller once or twice a week. Give your skin time to heal between uses
5. Use a quality skin cream or serum on your face afterwards for best results. 

How to Clean the derma roller
Step 1: Pour rubbing alcohol into roller container and submerge roller. Let both, roller and container, disinfect in the alcohol for 5 minutes.
Step 2: Pour out rubbing alcohol and run container and roller under hot water.
Step 3: Fill sink with hot water, add a tablespoon of bleach, then place roller and container in. Leave for 5 minutes.
Step 4: Take roller and container out, rinse with cold water, and then dry it off. Place roller back in container.

My Thoughts:
 This is book 3 in the Anna Nolan series and the only one I have read so far. All the books appear to be standalone but I think you would get the full effect reading the whole set. It took me a bit to catch up with who's who because there are a lot of people in the book.. Once I got into it though, I loved the story line and had to keep reading. Its one of those books where you are sure you know who did it and then you change your mind about a dozen times. Basically everyone could have done it, poor Julia was surrounded by some not very nice people.  Now I need to go back and read the first 2 books so I can see how Anna got into solving mysteries. Other than the sheer volume of characters, I enjoyed this book quite a bit.

My thoughts:

First off, I wish the company would come up with better descriptions. I thought jumbo meant huge but in this case jumbo is the smallest size the company offers. I read all these reviews from folks with mini vans and honestly still thought this would fit my van. I have a Dodge caravan and apparently it has a larger windshield than other vans is all I can figure. The shade did not even come close to fitting my windshield. It is probably at least 3-4 inches too short to fit. And I must not be as smart as others because I had a heck of a time folding this back up. Finally I read someone's review that gave the below instructions for folding the shade back up. All that being said, I do like how light weight the material is and how easy it pops up. and when I laid it on my dash it did a good job with keeping frost off the window.

The directions are:

Step one: Fold the shade in two, such that both circles inserts overlap. Hold the folded Sunshade with both hands at opposite ends of the circle inserts.

Step two: Gently twist both hands in opposite directions. Twist your left hand/wrist clockwise, while twisting counter - clockwise with your right hand/wrist. Keep twisting until the sunshade collapses onto itself and push the folded metal circle inserts together.

Step three: Hold the parts together while you wrap the elastic band attached to the sunscreen around the bundle. You can now put the folded Sunshade in it's pouch. The easiest way to do this is by wrapping one side of the pouch partly over the folded shape. Then hold it in place with one hand while sliding the pouch over the bundle with your other hand.

I would like to see the direction be available on the package without accessing the website. That would be great.

My thoughts
We have 4 short haired dogs and 3 long haired cats. Going to the groomer is way too big of an ordeal. But I get tired of all the fur being everywhere. The Professional Pet Deshedding & Grooming Tool worked so great for us. It was super easy to use, got rid of loose hair and didn't get caught in their fur so no tugging and pulling. Clean up was easy, with just a push of the button all the fur came off the comb. My only thing is that its a grooming brush, not rocket science. My Thoughts
My doctor has recently put me on 2 blood pressure medicines because my blood pressure has been being very high lately.  So when I got a chance to review the MeasuPro, I jumped at it. I sometimes haven't been going back to the doctor for checkups because I don't want to hear him fuss if my pressure is still up. So now I can check it at home. The MeasuPro was very easy to use. It came with 4 AAA batteries and was ready to use. It is designed to track 2 people. You can keep up to 60 readings for each person. It is very lightweight and easy to use. Just put on your arm and turn on either button 1 or 2 depending on which person is using it. The readings are in large, easy to see numbers in case you have problems seeing. After the reading is done it displays your blood pressure,  and heart rate. There is a little graph at the bottom that tells you where your blood pressure falls in terms of optimal to severe. My only complaint is that it says it is for medium to large sized arms but it doesn't mean overweight arms.
Here is a video of my using the machine on my daughter's arm. Btw at the end, of the video I make the statement that my daughter has pretty good blood pressure, she would like to point out she has optimal blood pressure according to the machine. :)
